We Take a Look Under the Hood

Step 1: Receive your lab kit in the mail.

Meet the Founder
Brigid Titgemeier, MS, RDN, LD, IFNCP is the CEO and founder of Being Functional Nutrition and a functional medicine dietitian. When Brigid was diagnosed with a neurological condition and experiencing 20+ mini seizures per day at 15 years old, she discovered the power of functional medicine and using food as medicine. That was the catalyst that led her become a Registered Dietitian and dedicate her life to helping others transform their own health with food and lifestyle interventions and working to transform healthcare.
Today Brigid and her team of Functional Medicine Registered Dietitians work to help people improve their symptoms, labs and relationship with health. Her company offers individual, group and corporate nutrition coaching programs that have helped more than 6,000 people reverse or mitigate food-driven diseases using a data-driven, personalized approach to using food as medicine.
Brigid is a leader in the field of functional nutrition. She was a co-founding dietitian at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine under Dr. Mark Hyman and co-created an integrative and functional nutrition course at Case Western Reserve University's School of Medicine in 2016 where she teaches future healthcare practitioners. Brigid earned a Master's of Science in Public Health Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University. She is board certified in integrative and functional nutrition and completed the Institute for Functional Medicine's advanced practitioner credentialing program.
