Program Details: This is the first virtual nutrition program of its kind. Not only will you learn the science behind how to eat your way to better health but you will also implement a personalized, data-driven nutrition plan based on your health history and lab results.

Brigid Titgemeier is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with board certification in Integrative and Functional Nutrition. In her virtual nutrition clinic, she works one on one with executives, delivering highly personalized nutrition recommendations and coaching based on targeted lab assessments. She is also an instructor at Case Western Reserve University, where she teaches a graduate level functional nutrition course. Previously, Brigid was a founding dietitian at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine, where she worked with more than 3,000 patients, developed group nutrition programs and trained under Dr. Mark Hyman.
Brigid has a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics from Miami University, as well as a Master’s of Science in Public Health Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University. She has completed four years of advanced functional medicine training through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy and the Institute for Functional Medicine. Brigid has published numerous articles for Cleveland Clinic Health Essentials, Mind Body Green, U.S. News and World Report, the Huffington Post and her own website, Beingbrigid.com.
All lab fees are included in the cost of the program. You will receive the lab kits in the mail and collect samples at home.
The Pre-Program begins the moment you complete your registration. You will receive your lab kits in the mail the week of January 4th, 2021. Week 1 Module will be available to you beginning January 21st, 2021. The first shared nutrition appointment will be January 27th, 2021
The last day of the program is April 2nd, 2021.
Upon signing up, you will gain access to our online HIPAA compliant platform. There, you will fill out your health history forms for your one on one nutrition appointment. You will receive access to the Pre-Program modules via our educational platform. Within one week of registration closing, you will also receive your lab kits and ProLon meal kit in the mail.
The approach that we take in My Food is Health is using food as medicine. Since this program is led by a Registered Dietitian who has extensive training in using targeted food and nutritional based interventions to improve health outcomes, we will absolutely use food to improve how your body functions. Past clients have reported improvements in the following areas: bowel movements, energy, fewer cravings, joint muscle pain, less bloating, sleep, stress management, weight loss and more motivation!
Yes! Individuals with dietary restrictions can absolutely participate in this program. Dietary needs will be accounted for throughout the program. Brigid will provide additional guidance on foods that may be best to avoid short-term and will help ensure you are meeting your nutrient needs.
ProLon is a five day fasting mimicking diet created by Dr. Valter Longo that is associated with better aging and an increase in anti-inflammatory gut bacteria. You will be mailed a ProLon kit at the start of the program and you will follow the 5 day protocol on week 3 of the program.
We always encourage cooking in the kitchen when possible and also provide recipes and food product ideas. But if you do not have the ability to cook in your kitchen, we also provide other tips and resources that help even if you are not cooking in the kitchen.
While personalized nutrition needs are not always convenient, they can help people feel so much better. There are plenty of ways that you can structure dinner to make it possible for everyone to enjoy without cooking five different meals each night.
You can expect to dedicate between 3-4 hours per week between watching the modules, reviewing educational materials, participating in the weekly shared nutrition appointment and completing various assignments. If you have a busy week and are not able to watch the modules or attend the appointments, you can always go back to the recordings and watch them on your own.
Shared nutrition appointments will be every Wednesday at 5:30pm ET starting January 27th, with the exception of week 4.
This weekly one hour appointment led by Brigid is a great opportunity to connect with the group, ask any questions you may have about that week's topic or struggles, discuss your nutrition plan and the educational materials.
Every shared nutrition appointment is recorded and shared in a weekly recap. If you're unable to attend the appointment, you can go back later and watch the replay on your own!
You have ongoing access to the educational materials from the program.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this program, however, due to federal regulations we are only able to send lab kits to addresses within the United States. Therefore, any clients living outside of the US who signs up for the program will not receive these kits.
