Let Me Introduce Myself!
If you’re new here, I’m Brigid, a Functional Medicine Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist and Health Advocate. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and currently live in Florida with my husband Johnny, our daughter McKinley, and dog Mo.
I’m the founder of Being Functional Nutrition, a digital coaching company where my team of dietitians use food as medicine for better labs, symptoms and relationships with health.
For the last seven years, I’ve also taught an integrative and functional nutrition course at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine. Before I started Being Functional Nutrition, I was a co-founding dietitian at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine under Dr. Mark Hyman.
Seventeen years ago I used food as medicine to drastically improve my own neurological condition and since then, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others take ownership of their health and improve their health trajectory.
